So the past couple of weeks have been pretty chill. My summer's actually alright. I can't complain. Well... Other than me getting sick the week of Nikki's debut, everything's been going pretty damned well.
Let's see... Nikki's debut was awesome. I had a lot of fun despite me being sick. That week I was in a lot of pain and didn't know what was wrong with me. Had major headaches and a fever that kept coming and going. Day of the debut I was popping pills left and right just to make sure I could last the night. Surprisingly, I felt better 1/2 way through the cotillion. Hehe. Anyhoo...
What else? The days after Nikki's debut were full of rest and trying to get better and figure out what was making me so sick. My doctor finally diagnosed me with some virus that was going around (Isn't that always the excuse? Some "virus" that's "been going around.") and gave me a perscription for some antibiotics. They helped, so I can't complain.
I eventually got better and started to go out again. Ken took me out, so that was really nice. =) A few days after that I went to Kayla's for her birthday party. Actually... That was just two days ago.
Yesterday was really fun. I ended up applying at Jamba Juice at Downtown Disney and they ended up offering me the job right on the spot. Yay me! Haha. So I will begin working there hopefully this coming Saturday. I need to call them back to find out what time the training/orientation is. So that was the first thing about yesterday. Next, I hung out with Kayla all day and helped her run errands because today she left for the retreat she's going to be on for the rest of the week. That was fun. We went to Walgreens, Target, Pay-Less, the mall. We made the collages that she needed for the retreat. We watched Now and Then and Chicken Little. Both very good movies. =) After that was when we went to the mall and ended up seeing Carrie, Paul, CJ, and Sam. We had agreed to watch Cars later that night, it just so happened that we all were at the mall. =P So after that we all met up at the AMC in Norwalk and watched. I love that movie.
Anyhoo... Yesterday was a really good day. I miss hanging out with Kayla and Carrie. I'm excited to start working, though. =)
